While we were having a company party at Christmas time, we were all talking and laughing when the subject turned to what we were all giving to each of our spouses for Christmas. I found it interesting the responses that we all had ranging from buying a new big screen television, to buying a new recliner. One was buying her husband a new dishwasher. But one of them was buying her husband a piston so he could protect the family if an intruder came in. This is where the subject became interesting. Some believe the right to own pistols for protection and some found it unsafe to have fire arms in the home. I was glad to be able to say home security Massachusetts is so much safer than my husband taking on the robbers himself. We never know how it will all play out but I would rather an alarm alert the police than my husband risking his life to protect the family. I can’t think of anything worse than to lose my husband or family member due to someone invading our home. It is easier to know that our Massachusetts home security system will protect us when it is needed. As I listened to my co-workers and heard them talk about the protection they had or didn’t have. I was very thankful that as I went to bed that night I knew that my whole family could sleep safe and protected knowing the security system would take care of us and we didn’t need to lose sleep or be afraid. We knew we were safe.

Roomates Mark Missino and Bernard McAllister have been accused of stealing over $1 million in a spree of home burglaries. With a long track record, police were able to apprehend the pair as they were preparing to leave the country.

Since their arrest, Missino and McAllister have been linked to 80 unsolved burglaries in the Northeast. Both have a record of burglary in numerous states, as well as robbery, breaking and entering, and threatening. The career criminals have also been charged with possession of firearms since they were found with seventeen stolen guns, all believed to be from homes they’ve robbed.

Their two year burglary spree came to end when they were spotted outside of a rented storage unit. They fled and were captured four days later in Massachusetts. When police opened the storage unit they were happy to find many of the stolen possessions.

If the two are convicted of the federal charges they face 15 years to life in prison. They are also up against numerous state prison sentences. For Missino and McAllister it seems their stint is over. While it’s unclear if their victims had a security system in place, it’s evident that good police work and hard evidence worked against them.
